Finally, some work that I can display after my extended hiatus.
Having been working in live music photojournalism the last few months, I've not had time to really photograph anything else, and I am not permitted to display any images taken while working on sites like dA because of that lovely little thing called art theft.
It's also why I now watermark, having fallen victim to it.
It was nice to get back to my roots and do a proper shoot today after so long. Friends of mine were kind enough to let me borrow them to update/rework my portfolio, as I wanted to do a tattoo focused shoot - something I haven't really done before.
UPDATE: Wow, my first DD!!! Thank you so very much. I didn't think I would get one of those babies. Quite a humbling feeling, really. Much, much, much, MUUUUUUCH love!
well i faved it before it got DD, first of all congratulation too, then i read all that rude comments those are really jealous people . anyways very well deserved DD and very well Deserved featured all the best for future work!
Inspiration really CAN come from anywhere. At least it does for me. I rarely get inspiration from amazing pieces of work, but from the smallest, simplest, everyday things.
My inspiration for the tattoo shoot I did with my two friends was simply from one of the mothers at my son's school looking at my tatts in a negative way. And I instantly wanted to do a shoot that was focussed on tattoos, and how they can be beautiful - as well as the people who get them.

There's some amazing photos featured in that article, so being considered good enough for that feature is really very humbling.
