Right-o. Thought I'd swing by, say HEY, and let you know that I'm still alive. Times have been busy of late.
Getting everything finalised for opening the stuio with my friend on the 20th which is very exciting. You can have a look at our facebook page if you like

I have a CRAZY few weeks coming up.
On photojournalist duty with Dallas Green (City And Colour, Alexisonfire) this Wednesday and Thursday - now, this man is my musical idol. I am heavily influenced by his music when I am writing my own. And I am quite smitten with the man. I was happy enough to be doing photos, but I am also interviewing him. Wish me luck. Hopefully I don't do anything inappropriate. I've also got access all areas, so I will be taking a lot of photos from the side and back of the stage, which is actually where I get my best photos, because I capture the 'human' moments rather than the 'God' moments. AAAAAAAAND, he's probably coming into the studio to do a little shoot to help us out because I'm doing so much work with him, and haven't asked payment (I'll be paid from media outlets when I distribute). Again, wish me luck and hope I don't do anything inappropriate.
It's my 25th on Saturday.

I'm actually really excited, unlike all my friends who turned 25 last year. I'm also on photo duty at a gig that night for one of my local bands.

Wednesday next week, working with Kimbra.
Friday next week, working with Josh Pyke.
Saturday next week, MY PARTY - with a rockabilly theme, and live music provided by some of the local bands I work with (and myself, too)... Mandatory dress up. It will be awesome.
Sunday next week, mothers' day here in Aus, plus my business partner and I are doing a location shoot.
Then on the following weekend I'm on the road with The Butterfly Effect for three shows on their final tour before their vocalist leaves.
ALL WHILE BEING ON MOTHER DUTY AND STILL NEEDING TO DO EVERYTHING ELSE AS NORM.
Speaking of... It's 5am, and I need to be up in two hours for the school routine. Joyous.
